Wool and Wood Handcrafts
The West Canaan Art signature piece is a floral bouquet and turned vase base. The unique turned wood base keeps the delicate bud vase full of knitted flowers from tipping over! Our beautiful bowls are turned by Mike, mostly from native NH and Florida wood or from logs picked up around the USA. Many of the bowls are inlaid with beads and stones. Our whimsical little wool and fiber art pieces are in constant production… Annie is rarely without knitting needles and wool in hand!
When we’re not in our studios, we dream and scheme on our daily walks at home here in the woods in NH and on the beaches in Florida, camp in our little travel trailer, visit family, friends and the glorious parks across the country, attend enough venues to keep our creative juices flowing and genuinely enjoy our life and our art in retirement.
