Fiber Arts Pattern Designers at the Festival
Designer Alley features designers of fiber arts patterns. We hope this encourages people to discover new designers and allows an opportunity to chat with your favorites designers about their patterns.

Green Mountain Shawl KAL Meet-up
Saturday & Sunday at 1pm
Sponsored by the Green Mountain Knitting Guild
At 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday, the Green Mountain Knitting Guild will host their meet-up for photos and conversation about this year’s Green Mountain Shawl, Shearing Day by Erika Field, Grapefruit & Gardenia Designs. Erika will be there to meet everyone who participated in the KAL. This will take place near the Dodge Gilman Building or in the Judging Arena, in case of rain.
Designer Alley Demo Schedule
Saturday:
11:00am: Learn more about the Hudson Valley Textile Project’s Sweaters for Good initiative from member Erika, from Grapefruit and Gardenia, and Jules, from Juliette Pecaut Designs. They will offer a short talk and opportunity to sign the pledge (and grab swag, while supplies last).
2:30pm: Stop by Birch Tree Knits where Alice will be doing demos on knitting techniques that she uses in her patterns.
3:00pm: Erika and Jules will be talking about their design process working with farm yarns and what to look for when shopping the festival.
Sunday:
10:30am: Stop by Birch Tree Knits, where Alice will be doing demos on knitting techniques that she uses in her patterns.
