Alpaca Fiber Products from our Herd
Snowfield Alpacas is a small alpaca farm with a colorful herd of huacaya alpacas grazing our fields. Snowfield produces 3 ply worsted weight 100% alpaca yarn in natural colors and small batches of hand dyed colors. The hanks are 125 yds to accommodate the knitter who enjoys color work but doesn’t wish to purchase more yarn than they will need for their project. With our yarn we produce one-of-a-kind hand knitted hats and accessories as well as felted hats in three styles; pillbox, flare and roll brim. Snowfield also has felted insoles, dryer balls and rug yarn in natural solid and variegated blends.
