Cost: $75 plus materials fee
Class Description: We will focus in class on spinning and plying Alpaca of different natural colors (undyed) together to create different effects. I’ll demonstrate different kinds of spinning for creating different kinds of yarn.Experience Level: All students should be comfortable with spinning on wheels or drop spindles. You don’t need to have spun Alpaca before, but comfort with spinning is important.Materials to be provided by instructor: Materials fee is $25.00. Prepared, ready to spin alpaca fiber will be provided in 3 natural colors. Drop Spindles will be available (of my design) for purchase, at $15.00 each.Materials to be provided by students: Students will need to either bring their own spinning wheel or drop spindle that they are comfortable with. Spindles will be available for purchase at $15.00 each.
