Use our online form to submit a proposal for an event or activity at the Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival
The Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival will consider proposals for events to take place at the Festival as a one time event or yearly event. We will consider proposals for livestock shows, displays, workshops or other demonstrations at the festival. We are open to a wide range of events to expand the scope of the festival. All events must be in keeping with the Festival’s mission of showcasing natural fibers and the fiber arts.
The Festival Committee can offer some assistance in facilitating events at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds but we cannot organize or run the events. Your group or organization must take full responsibility for planning and staging the activities you propose, within guidelines set by the Festival Committee.
Please use the form below and submit as much detail as you are able to provide at this time. The Festival Committee will review the request for appropriateness at the Festival and in terms of what space is available for you. If your proposal is accepted we will meet with your group or a committee of your group to discuss the activity further. We would also ask that a site visit be made either in late spring or early summer to review locations appropriate to your event.
- Please submit proposal by Jan 31 to be considered for that year’s Festival
- If your proposal is accepted, be prepared to submit a description along with images and other appropriate documentation by March 30 for inclusion in the Festival program and website
