Hand Dyed Yarns and more

Nightingale Fibers yarns are hand dyed in small batches in my New Hampshire home. My colors are mostly deep, saturated tones and are inspired by the colors around me, whether that is my garden, the sky, a piece of fabric or a picture in a book. I have tonal colorways and multicolor colorways. I love experimenting with new color combinations (some work better than others!).

I source fine, quality yarn bases to dye, and have recently been trying to utilize yarns produced in America. Those yarns are coming soon. My yarn weights range from lace to super bulky.

I also carry spinning and felting fibers, some are also hand dyed. Take a look at the hand dyed Pencil Roving; it is popular and often sells out the first day of a festival.

Those of you who have visited my booth at various “in person” events, will remember the large bowl of Wool Dryer Balls on the checkout table. I continue to love the process of first needle felting and then wet felting the balls in neutral and crazy color combinations. These balls are an environmental friendly alternative to dryer sheets and plastic dryer balls.
