Coopworth Fiber Products

In 1992, after much research and many farm visits we selected Coopworth as the breed of sheep that we would make our own.  We wanted an easy-care, dual purpose breed that would excel in converting grass into meat as well as the type of wool that I enjoyed working with.  With the Coopworths, we found exactly that and more.  If you would like to learn more about why we like them so much, please visit: americancoopworthregistry.org .

Our sheep add so much to our lives, and over the years I have very much enjoyed setting up our booth at the Vermont Sheep and Wool Festival to showcase and sell the wonderful products that they provide to us.  From prizewinning raw fleece to gorgeous sheepskins to our hand dyed yarns and combed top, it’s a pleasure to present them for sale, and to visit with happy customers who come back year after year.  How I love seeing what they have created with the fleece or yarn that they went home with!  This year everything is different, so we have done our best to present our farm products online at mountainvewecoopworths.com . Please take a look.  We hope you will like what you see!  Thank you everyone!
