Growing Flax for Fiber
We currently are selling our first product line. They are pure linen kitchen textiles: two styles of apron, a tea towel, a dish cloth, and an oven mitt. This is our first product line after beginning to grow flax for fiber here in Vermont in 2022. These products are made with long-line Belgian linen, spun, woven and manufactured to our specifications in India. We will also be selling kits with drop spindles and Vermont grown flax fiber for spinning. We demonstrate the processing of the fiber from the plant by hand. We also demonstrate drop spindle spinning and wheel spinning. We spend a lot of time and effort in teaching folks about flax and linen. We are founding members of the North American Linen Association.
