Meaghan Audet is the owner and operator of Cracked An Egg Farm. Her whole farm started out with chicks from a school hatching that actually turned out to be turkeys, not chickens like they were expecting! Meaghan fell in love with farming and joined her local, 4-H and FFA and began showing her livestock at local fairs. As a teenager, Meaghan competed in a lot of FFA (Future Farmers of America) events. She was awarded the National and State Gold Award in diversified livestock and sheep production.
As an adult Meaghan got married to her husband Nick and she moved to Vermont. They had a small property in Brandon, Vermont for about two years before they found their 75 acre lot in East Dover. When they first moved to East Dover, they purchased raw land with no power, water, or any buildings. They have started from scratch all over again, and are in the process of rebuilding their farm at their new property. They have been here for just a little over two years and already have a wonderful customer base.
Meaghan raises registered Clun Forest, and Finnsheep, goats, pork, beef, rabbit, and poultry. She makes a lot of products with her goats milk including soap, lotions, and whipped body butters. She also makes wool felted creations. Meaghan has a small garden that she hopes to expand in the coming years as her property is worked and more land is developed. Meaghan loves talking about her farm and is more than happy to answer any question or help new beginning farms learn the process of raising livestock

We do take custom requests and orders on all products. Most turn around times are 1-2 weeks on custom orders.
