Time: Full day class begins at 10am
Cost: $150 plus $40 materials fee

Class Description: Explore how to incorporate fresh and dried flowers into your freeform weaving to create images and sculptural designs. Weaving with flowers, leaves, and stems as weft or as supplemental warp is a meaningful way to capture the memories from a special bouquet or a growing season. We will work on standing tabletop looms that have been pre-warped with with rustic linen twine. All equipment, tools, and supplies will be provided, including fresh and dried plant materials, roving, and yarn.

Experience Level: This is an introductory class but some weaving experience will be helpful.

Materials to be provided by instructor: All equipment, tools, supplies, and materials: looms, scissors, tapestry needles, fresh and dried flowers, yarn, and fiber.

Materials to be provided by students: None required but participants may bring any plant materials they would like to incorporate into their weavings.
