Braiding with Wool

Instructor: Sue Carey from Marble Meadows Farm

Sunday: 10:30am – 12:30pm

Learn the basics of turning roving into a coaster or hot pad. This is a fun take-off on traditional rug braiding. Instead of using wool material for a rug, we are going to make a smaller article out of roving. The wool is be separated into strands, and then braided. After this, the braid will be laced together using cotton rug lacing. Kits and wool will be available for sale at the class. The price is $10 which includes enough roving, lacing, and a needle to make one small hot pad.
