A Vermont Knitting Community
Green Mountain Knitting Guild is a growing association of knitters, designers, and instructors in the heart of Vermont. We’ve built a safe and welcoming knitting community, and membership is open to anyone from all backgrounds who lives in, near, or feels a connection to Vermont. We do not tolerate discrimination, unkind, or hurtful comments, and we ask that you show respect to your fellow members at all times.
We are creating a supportive network and strengthening resources for the Vermont knitting community through the following: monthly meetings, weekly “knit nights” online, and in-person events such as workshops, weekend retreats, field trips to New England yarn stores, fiber farms and mills. We are proudly affiliated with The Knitting Guild Association.
